This summer I lived in short dresses, the heat made maxi and midi length unbearable. I kept going back to gingham and I probably have it in every color possible haha... I'm savoring the beach days with little j, this year it's so easy to take him to the beach by myself compared to the previous years. A lot of time we will just rock up to the beach spontaneously since we are only 10 minutes away. I can't believe August is coming to an end! Summer always feels too short!

    How lucky you are to live that close to the beach! I just got back from a short beach vacation and it was an 8-hour drive to get there :/ You look beautiful in this dress. I, too, love gingham checks and think I only have one thing in my closet with the pattern. I agree that shorter dresses are the best way to go with this summer heat. That's pretty much what I live in for the summer, too. Your photos are gorgeous and what a little cutie to have as a companion!
