Happy Friday my darlings! With Spring slowly making its way here I'm getting excited to switch up my wardrobe to floral prints and summer dresses. So today I'm sharing some beautiful formal dresses for 2017, from Formaldressaustralia.
First up is my favourite out of all of these dresses. I love how versatile this dress is! The detachable skirt makes it so much more wearable. After wearing it to your prom or formal you can still wear it to weddings or other special occasions. You can also mix and match the skirt with other tops to dress it up or down. The combinations are endless. It also comes in many other colours, which is always a bonus.
I've always been a fan for modest/safe neckline. I love the sweetheart neckline under the sheer embroidered detail. Making this dress classy, chic and super romantic. The tulle evokes a fairy tale dream and the polished satin belt accentuates your waistline. This dress comes in many other colours too, so you can pick one that flatters your skin colour the most.
This dress is pretty much a wedding gown. I know white is really popular in terms of formal/prom dress. Since it's an universal flattering colour- well technically white isn't a colour but you know what I mean;P Again, I love the mock off shoulder sleeves, it give you more security without loosing the great design. The high slit shows off your legs and your heels, it also makes you less likely to trip and step on your dress- win win situation here! But if you don't want to wear white to your formal, there are also many other colours to choose from for this style.
I am just totally in love with this dress. The off shoulder design is still super trendy right now. Even when it wasn't in fashion I've always loved the off shoulder look. I love the laced up detail on the back. Not only is it functional it's also just one of my favourite designs. The empire waistline and the tulle with scattered floral embroidery makes this dress a dream for those girly girls.
Lastly another super romantic dress that can totally be pulled off as a wedding gown/reception gown. There's something about tulle that makes a dress super romantic and fairy tale like. The added floral embroidery that scattered around the top like cascading falling blossoms makes this dress a pure dream for those helpless romantic. Again it also comes in many other colours if pink isn't your cup of tea.
I hope you enjoyed this little selection of the formal dresses I personally adore. Check out more formal dresses for 2017, from Formaldressaustralia.
