DIY Studs

by - 11/26/2014

Hello there! Today I'm sharing a DIY project I did recently- adding studs to your old boots! This is a great way to spice up your closet without spending too much $$$ Plus, it's always fun to do little projects as the weather start to freeze and you just want to stay home.

Materials:

-Old pair of boots/booties with a belt buckle design. (Or you can try gluing the studs on the front or around the ankles)
-2 different type/size of studs (You can buy them in trim stores, art stores like Michaels or on Etsy)

Steps:

1. Wipe the area you wish to glue the studs on clean.
2. Glue the bigger studs on first and arrange it loosely around the belt.
3. Fill the remaining space with the smaller studs.
4. Let it dry overnight.

I avoid the bigger spikes since they fall of too easily. I hope you enjoyed this little DIY project! Have a great thanksgiving for those in the US! Thank you for stopping by!
